For Tomas, the moon is a full-time obsession. Shirking his studies in favour of pouring over astronomical text books and his telescope, he has become an expert on Earth’s natural satellite. It is through his telescope that he first spies Iris, an older teenage neighbour and the new object of his affections. Triggered by unrequited love, school pressures, a chaotic family and his ongoing struggle with an early childhood trauma, Tomas begins to meticulously plan a trip to his one source of stability; the moon.
