Call for submissions for Youth and Children’s Film Festival Just Film 2023 Works in Progress.

Producers and directors are welcome to apply for the Youth and Children’s Film Festival Just Film Works in Progress with full-length fiction film projects that will be in the production or post-production stage by the moment of presentations. Just Film is the largest sub-festival of Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival.

Just Film Works in Progress gives out an 1000 Euro prize, Just Film Award, to help the film gain visibility by subsidizing its promotional and publicity-related expenses.

Five selected projects will be presented on November 15, 2023 during Just Film Industry Days at the Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event by presenting clips on cinema screen and giving a live pitch in Tallinn.

To submit your youth and children’s film and/or animation project to Works in Progress, please fill in an online application form providing all the requested information and documents by September 6, 2023.

The deadline for submitting the project and supplementary materials is 6 September 2023 via Eventival.

Before submitting, please take the time to read the Rules and Regulations and make sure that the project matches the following eligibility criteria:

• Full-length fiction film for theatrical distribution with potential for international market
• The project must not have an international sales agent attached
• The project must not have been presented in any previous Works in Progress at international industry events, except for a presentation at an event in the country of origin.
