Ever catch yourself picturing scenes and visual stories whenever a great song plays? Here is your chance to bring those ideas to life on the big screen!
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for students in grades 6–12 (up to 19 years old) to participate. You can enter individually or with a core team of up to 4 members.
Why participate?
Try your hand at directing, shooting, and editing a real music video.
Get feedback on your completed video from top industry professionals.
Your work has the chance to reach a wide audience!
Competition Timeline:
07.09 – Competition launch & registration opens: Put your team together and sign up! Registration deadline is 23.10.
30.10 at 12:00 – 1st Meeting & Pitching (at Koolifilm Festival):
Teams gather for a workshop and listen to EiK's unreleased song for the first time.
Over the course of a few hours, teams develop a music video concept.
Ideas are pitched to a panel, which includes EiK. The panel provides immediate initial feedback.
30.10 – 13.11 – Shooting & Editing: Teams have two weeks to shoot and edit the video. You are welcome to involve additional friends in the production process.
13.11 at 12:00 – Deadline: The completed video must be uploaded.
14.11 – 2nd Meeting & Feedback (at Just Film):
Teams gather as part of the Just Film workshop to watch all submitted videos on the big screen for the ultimate cinema experience.
The jury panel provides detailed feedback on each video.
Prize & Release:
EiK will select the winning video from the submissions to become the official music video released alongside the new song! In addition, exciting prizes from supporters await the winners, with a special prize for the best editor: a slot in the Team4Set mentorship program!
The competition is held in cooperation with Just Film and Koolifilm festivals.
