Call for submissions for the biggest Northern Europe Youth and Children’s Film Festival Just Film Works in Progress

Producers and directors are welcome to apply for the Youth and Children’s Film Festival Just Film Works in Progress with full-length fiction film projects that will be in the production or post-production stage by the moment of presentations. Just Film is the largest sub-festival of Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival.

Just Film Works in Progress gives out a 1000 euro prize, Just Film Award, to help the film gain visibility by covering promotion and publicity costs. Last year’s winner, “Paula” by Florencia Wehbe (Argentina-Italy, production companies Bombilla Cine, Argentina, and The Piranesi Experience, Italy), will be screening in the official Just Film programme this year.

The projects will be presented from November 22 to 24, 2022, during Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event on cinema screens in Tallinn. To provide access to a wide range of audiovisual industry professionals, the projects will also be available to watch online after the pitch.

To submit your children’s film and/or animation project to Works in Progress, please fill in an online application form providing all the requested information and documents by September 25, 2022.
